The goal of this project is to test approximately 6,000 groundwater sources (borewells and handpumps) in the Reoti, Belhari, and Dubhand blocks of Ballia District to assess arsenic contamination in drinking water.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Approximately 3,000 water sources will be tested across villages in the three study blocks. Based on the Phase 1 results, an additional 3,000 water quality tests will be conducted in areas showing elevated arsenic levels. This phase will help identify contamination hotspots and understand local patterns in greater detail.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
